The Morocco Retreat 2027

A calming oasis awaits and welcomes you to a world of its own. Modern elegance meets Moroccan tradition in beautiful sprawling landscaped gardens with swimming pool, an eclectic mix of rooms and a private Hammam and Spa. One of the specialties is the quality of the organic vegetarian food – Moroccan with a twist!

Hartford Yoga retreat guests have the freedom to treat their time as their own and all yoga practices, activities and excursions are optional but included as a package. Marrakesh has strict alcohol laws which limit where you can purchase and consume alcohol, but rest assured, if you do wish to indulge the odd alcoholic drink or two we have a poolside bar that will happily serve you an evening cocktail or other tiple of choice if you choose to after our evening meal (extra cost not included).

The Shala sits within the villa gardens with an overhead canopy to provide shade and all mats and props are provided so please feel free to travel light unless you wish to pack your won mat.
In addition to the Shala the secluded gardens and grounds provide many areas for you to retreat to if you’re seeking those extra moments of quietude, optional guided meditation sessions will be offered throughout your stay when possible.
Mouth-watering fresh and healthy cuisine is included using in season local produce from the gardens and local area providing a daily menu of Moroccan inspired delights. You will also have the opportunity to experience a Moroccan cookery lesson in the designated cookery classroom and help prepare one of our evening meals whilst perhaps picking up some new skills along the way! All food will be vegetarian and served alfresco or in the dining room if necessary.
Guests stay in one of the many quirky individually styled accommodation choices, a mix of single, twin and king suites in either hidden cottages around the grounds, luxury glamping suites, main villa or grounds accommodation suites. All rooms and glamping suites have air con and en-suite bathroom facilities. As a number of bookings have already been taken up I will only included details of the remaining accommodation choices.

This comfy Super King, decorated in soft grey and blue, has its own Tadelakt walk-in shower and looks out over the gardens. It shares a sunny terrace with the rooms Silver, Zellige, Amazigh, and Kasbah suites
Shaa’s Private Retreat Suite
2 Guests Share/ 1 Super King Double or Twin as 2 Singles £1650pp
A large luxury, more private, glamping suite combines comfort and style with its brick structure and insulated tented roof. Decorated with soft cream tadelakt walls, rich reds, and beautiful hand-woven fabrics and Berber rugs, it offers a Super King double/twin bed. The en-suite tiled bath/shower room adds convenience, while the private outdoor seating area and small rose garden offers lovely views over the gardens and pool. Air conditioning unit provided.
MEDHI GLAMPING SUITE
2 Guests Twin share /2 Singles bed £1600pp (one twin bed already booked)
This luxury Glamping suite shares space withe the Assia Suite, so a more sociable space than Medhi. Offering a unique and comfortable experience with brick walls and insulated tented roofs. Featuring authentic hand-painted chests, artisan pieces, and beautiful Berber rugs, this suite is designed for ultimate relaxation. With Super King double/twin beds options. Air conditioned.
ASSIA GLAMPING SUITE
2 Guests / 1 Super King Double or Twin 2 Singles £1600pp
Located side by side with Medhi, the suites share a fabulous outdoor seating area with stunning views of the lush gardens and pool. The suite includes en-suite tiled bath/shower room, air conditioning, and all the comforts of home. Ideal for a memorable retreat in the peaceful corner of this Moroccan oasis.

Hammam & Massage
As part of your stay you shall be treated to a Hammam in the dedicated Hammam room.
The Villa also boasts a Spa and you will be given the opportunity to book treatments in advance of your stay if you desire.
Retreat Mini Spa Treatments (2025/26 prices)
Massage – During the massage, our trained therapists will apply gentle or strong pressure to the muscles and joints of your body to ease pain and tension and to relax your body and soul. You may ask for a relaxing, a tonic or sports massage, you might also like our therapist to work more on specific areas of your body, such as neck and shoulders or lower back.
The therapists use natural argan oil with essential oils (please advise if you have nut allergies in advance)Cost 550 dhs for 1 hour (approx. £114)
Facial – A relaxing skin care treatment, which includes, exfoliation, extraction, creams, lotions and massage. Skin looks and feels smoother – Go home looking relaxed. Cost 550dhs (approx. £114)
Hammam – The primary benefit of a hammam is to cleans your pores of impurities and slough off dead skin. This will reveal fresh, smoother skin beneath. The exfoliation will also increase blood flow to the skin and give your skin a healthy smooth glow. An added benefit, it also helps to prolong your tan and if taken before a massage will increase the efficacy of the massage oil used. Cost 250 dhs (approx. £52)– Approximately 30 minutes
Spa treatments are best booked in advance of your arrival. Please note, spa treatments cancelled last minute will be charged in full.

Booking: A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of £500 and a completed booking form (please see below) will secure your place so please make sure you are fully committed to this retreat before booking.
