If you are a new student of Hartford Yoga, please download and complete this New Student Questionnaire and bring it to your first class.
All courses require a commitment to all sessions. No refunds/credits can be made for weeks unattended unless cancelled by Hartford Yoga in which case a full refund/credit will be made to you. This applies to all ‘pay as you go/drop in’ places too. Class sizes are small and limited and places are incredible hard to refill at the last minute.
All available classes can be booked online and via the ‘Book Now’ button. Once you are on a course you are guaranteed a place on the next course unless you decide not to sign up. Only those attending a current course have first refusal on the next course. Once you opt out of a course you will need to be added back to the waiting list until a place becomes available again. Payment for your class is sent to Hartford Yoga, Acc 48959765 SC 04-03-33.
The April/May 2026 Yoga Courses will run from 20th April until 22nd May for 5 weeks. Those currently attending a course will get first refusal before any free spaces are released to the waiting list before then going public. We do have a lovely yoga community here at Hartford Yoga so once you have a place here it’s yours for as long as you want it with priority pre booking for future courses so there’s never any stress about losing your place once you have one.
Thank you – and I look forward to welcoming you to your class.
Hari Om.

I teach the following practices of yoga…
Hatha Yoga
A traditional yoga class where we hold the postures for a number of breaths incorporating pranayama (breath work), meditation, nuggets of philosophy and relaxation. Suitable for all levels of ability as modifications are always offered.
Hatha Flow
Some experience of yoga is helpful but not essential for this class as with all classes modifications are always offered. My Hatha Flow classes incorporate all the elements of a traditional Hatha class but with more fluidity between the postures using variations of the Surya Namaskar sequence (sun salutation).
Vinyasa Flow
A more dynamic/energetic class for those who enjoy to really flow with their practice and stoke their inner fire. The class warms you up towards peak postures in a mindful, embodied and meditative way whilst nuggets of yogic philosophy is interwoven throughout. Modifications are offered to suit varying levels of ability, this is great class for those looking to advance their yoga practice or who simply enjoy to move more dynamically.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is often referred to as “yoga for the joints, not the muscles”. This is a quiet and deeply meditative practice and mostly floor based so wear warm socks and bring layers.
A yin practice directs attention towards the connective tissues, ligaments, bones and joints which are not normally exercised in the more active styles of yoga. Yin is a passive/soft practice but can be quite challenging due the postures being held for long durations, anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes, so still a challenge for the mind and the body but in a passive way, a great complimentary practice to the more dynamic yoga classes.
